Alncroft Parson Russell Terrier News

We began 2016 at Boston Championship Show (no CC's) under Richard Allen and Ch Alncroft I Spy 'Sadie' won BOB and was shortlisted in the group under Jeff Luscott.  She also achieved a very creditable 4th in a huge Champions Stakes class under Ian Sexton.

Another unforgettable day at the World's biggest dog show for Alncroft!  Gwen Small was judging and awarded a first CC and BOB to Sarah and Jamie Broadberry's Alncroft in Tune Ratscallion, handled by Kate as Tag has been residing with us whilst her owner recovers from an illness.  Tag's wins makes it three Crufts BOB wins in a row for Alncroft and four consecutive Crufts Bitch CC's!

Jessica also won the Good Citizen Bitch class with Alncroft In Gold 'Zara' and both Jessica and Amelie had qualified for the YKC Handling finals coming 3rd and 4th respectively in the final!

To top the day off, Jessica was awarded the YKC Artist of the Year 2016 overall winner!!

We were only spectators at Crufts 2015 aside from the Young Kennel Club Handling but we were so incredibly proud to witness Gill Sutton handle her and her husband Martin's Alncroft Maid an Issue at Springbeck (Ada) to the BCC and BOB and with it, her crown under Alan Small!!  To round off a lovely day, Jessica at her first ever YKC handling finals handled her beloved Alncroft In Gold to 4th place and Amelie was awarded first place in her age group of the YKC Artist of the Year 2015!

Gill and Ada continued their winning streak with a 4th CC and BOB under Steph Collis with Sadie (Ch Alncroft I Spy) picking up the RCC.

Gill and Ada won the RBCC under Harold Gay and Sarah Broadberry took Tag (Alncroft in Tune with Ratscallion) to her second championship show and having won her class at National Terrier, she went one better this time, winning BPIB.

We then had quite some break but it was very exciting to hear that Steph Collis made up Riplington Black Cherry (Ch Alncroft Blackthorn x Ch Alncroft Tribute to Riplington) to her title at Bournemouth under Kevin Moore, a moment her dear late mum would have been so proud of.

The break continued for the rest of the year but we made a trip to the PRTC Championship Show (judge Karen Rimmer) with Brody for the Progeny class which he won with his daughters, Alncroft Sovereign at Lyonmill, Ch Riplington Black Cherry, Alncroft Maid an Issue with Springbeck and Coclestane Cinnamon.  Gill and Martin Sutton had a wonderful day winning the CC (her second) and BIS with Alncroft Maid an Issue at Springbeck!
